There is an urgency in preserving transgender stories amidst increasing governmental attacks on our rights. Our lack of a coordinated plan for resistance can be restored by sharing personal narratives. GenderWild Press aims to create a platform for trans and queer voices, emphasizing the necessity of funding to continue this vital work.

An interview with Troy Ford

Troy Ford, an author and LGBTQIA2S+ organizer, discusses his newly released novel “Lamb: A Novel in Snapshots,” a queer coming-of-age story which explores themes of identity and belonging. Ford reflects on the supportive community found through serializing his work on Substack, the significance of vulnerability in writing, and the evolving landscape of LGBTQIA2S+ literature amidst ongoing censorship challenges. We also chat about the success his book has achieved and his plans for future works.
